Chris Utano earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Northeastern University. While attending Northeastern, Chris received the Wall Street Journal Award for academic excellence in the study of finance. Throughout the course of his studies, Chris participated in many activities, including the Men’s Hockey team. Chris launched his eleven year career in the finance industry at MFS and later joined Evergreen Investments. He was nominated and served as the president of the community involvement organization which participated in events for United Way, Project Hope and Habitat for Humanity. He was also the recipient of the company’s highest achievement, the Gold Vision Award. Chris’ first exposure to the building industry started as a teenager when Frank began teaching him about building principles and strong work ethic as they built homes together on Martha’s Vineyard. Always knowing in his heart that it was his passion, Chris made building custom homes his sole dedication in 2008 when he joined his father to continue the success of Pine Cone Construction. His extreme attention to detail and customer service have gained him an exceptional reputation as one of the best young builders.
